Cheryl Delong

Cheryl Lynn Delong is the author of Avery & Eldrid: The Mirror’s Secret, a magical children’s adventure celebrating friendship, courage, imagination, and believing in yourself. She loves creating stories that invite young readers into worlds filled with wonder, heart, mystery, and a touch of magic.

Inspired by the quiet courage children discover within themselves, Cheryl created Avery and Eldrid to remind readers that bravery often begins with learning to trust who you are. Through whimsical adventures and heartfelt storytelling, she hopes to encourage children to embrace curiosity, kindness, and imagination.

Cheryl lives between New York and Florida, where she continues dreaming up new adventures for Avery and Eldrid.
